Coraline is a novella by Neil Gaiman, it have a great but bizarre story, in wiki there’s the next description.
Coraline is a young, bored girl who discovers that a bricked-up wall behind a door in her flat leads to another world, with another mother, and another father. When she tries to go back, she realizes that her other mother has kidnapped her real parents and she must fight to get them back.
This novella that have been awarded with the Hugo Award for Best Novella, Nebula Award for best Novella and Bram Stoker Award for Best Work for Young Readers, will be adapted to an animated version in stop motion for the next year. The movie looks great and it will be 3D, no CG but the 3D of those 3D glasses.
Here’s the trailer of the movie. Coraline - Trailer

Since some time ago there was a rumor about this project, It’s an Animatrix version of Batman, a project of six short animated films of American - Japanese production.
The story of those movies will be set between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Here is a promotional video.
This project really looks amazingly promising, and I mean it. The story and plan have been done by American writers what can assure that the plot will be like the Batman the fans love. While the animation will be made by three of the best animation studios in Japan: Madhouse (Vampire Hunter, X, Memories), Studio 4ºC (Animatrix, Memories) and Production I.G. (Ghost Hound, Real Drive).
Beyond - Animatrix by Studio 4ºC
But the best part is the direction, first, will be directed by Bruce Timm, the director of Batman Animated, the series that everybody likes and the perfect Animated Batman never beaten so far (at least IMO). But if all this is not enough for you well the other director will be Satshi Kon! the director of Perfect Blue, Millenium Actress and Paprika.
Perfect Blue by Madhouse studio and Satshi Kon.
I’m not a big fan of Batman, but I can easily see this project being one of my favorites ever.

I think there are many out there that have been waiting for a new film by Stephen Chow. And those Kung Fu style movies that have been appearing make me wish this even more.
Cheung Gong 7 or CJ7 tells the story about a poor man and his son, who find a very strange creature from outer space.
This movie will be premiered in United States on March 7. This is the trailer.
Some movie captions.

When It comes to Zombies and video games I’m really not very interested, when it comes to Cowgirls and video games it’s completely another thing. But when it’s all about a Japanese Cowgirl in bikini using a pair of swords I say, make it a movie!
The popular video game Onechanbara has been adapted to a Japanese Live Action Movie and it’s scheduled to release in April there in Japan. This promotional poster looks great, sadly I couldn’t find a bigger one. Source: twitch.

There’s only two days left to the release of the new Live Action Movie based in Death Note Manga, L: Change the World. And Yahoo! JP have published an interview with the actor that plays the role of L, Ken’ichi Matsuyama. Ken’ichi have become an Idol thanks to his interpretation of this character, the favorite of Death Note’s fans.
I don’t understand Japanese so I don’t know what this interview is about, but obviously it’s something related to the movie. So I leave this link for anyone who can read Japanese (yahoo.co.jp/). This third movie of Death Note will be released this Saturday, February 9. And even though the interview in that page has the date of today, I found this video in YouTube that was uploaded since January 18. I think this is the same interview, unless he don’t change cloths for different interviews. Link: Yahoo!JP.
